About these terms

These terms apply to services provided by Adam Sindall-White, sole-trader physiotherapist, trading as Adam Sindall-White Physiotherapy, operating from 5 Bowling Green, Street, Somerset BA16 0AH.

By booking an appointment — online, by phone, by WhatsApp or in person — you agree to these terms. If anything here doesn't work for you, please get in touch before booking so we can sort it out.

What I offer

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy assessment, hands-on treatment, exercise prescription and rehabilitation for conditions such as back and neck pain, sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, joint and muscle pain, and everyday aches that won't shift.

I am a HCPC-registered physiotherapist, hold full professional indemnity insurance, and practice to the HCPC Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

I don't offer: emergency medical care, prescription medication, imaging (X-ray, MRI, ultrasound scan), or conditions outside my scope of practice — in those cases I'll signpost you to the right service.

03

Booking and payment

  • Single session: £50 for up to 60 minutes. Covers assessment, hands-on treatment and a home exercise plan.
  • Five-session bundle: £200 (£40 per session). Must be booked by the same patient and used within 12 months of purchase. Non-transferable to another person. Non-refundable once the first session has been attended.
  • Payment online at the time of booking (card, via Cal.com / Stripe), or at the clinic (cash, card, or bank transfer).
  • I'll provide a receipt on request. If you're claiming on private medical insurance, check with your insurer that my sessions are covered before you book — you'll usually need to pay upfront and claim back.
  • Prices may change from time to time. Any change will apply to new bookings only — sessions you've already paid for will honour the price you paid.
04

Cancellations and rescheduling

24 hours' notice, please. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged in full, and bundle cancellations within 24 hours count as a used session.

  • To cancel or reschedule, call or WhatsApp 07748 157 467, or email adamsindallwhitephysio@gmail.com.
  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your appointment are free. Single sessions are fully refunded.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment, or failure to attend, will be charged in full. For a bundle, the session counts as used.
  • If I need to cancel your appointment (for example, due to illness), I'll offer the next available slot or a full refund.
  • Rescheduling within the 24-hour window is treated as a late cancellation unless we've agreed otherwise.
05

Late arrival

Please aim to arrive a few minutes before your appointment so we can start on time. If you're running late:

  • Up to 15 minutes late: I'll do my best to see you, but your session may be shortened to stay on schedule for other patients.
  • More than 15 minutes late: the session will usually count as a no-show and be charged in full. Get in touch as soon as you know — I'll always try to help.
06

Your responsibilities

  • Give me accurate information about your health, medications, medical history, and anything you've been told by another clinician.
  • Tell me at once if something I ask you to do causes sharp pain, dizziness, breathlessness, chest pain, or any symptom that worries you.
  • Follow the advice and exercise plan we agree on — your outcomes depend on what happens between sessions, not just at them.
  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows access to the area being treated (shorts for lower-limb work, a vest top or t-shirt for upper body).
  • Let me know promptly if your symptoms change materially between appointments.
07

My responsibilities

  • Treat you with care, respect, and within my scope of practice as a HCPC-registered physiotherapist.
  • Explain what I'm going to do, and why, before doing it. Obtain your consent before any hands-on treatment.
  • Keep accurate clinical records of your care in line with professional record-keeping standards.
  • Keep your personal and clinical information confidential — see the Privacy Policy for detail.
  • Refer you on or signpost you to another clinician if your condition is outside what I can help with.
  • Maintain professional indemnity insurance and continuing professional development throughout my registration.
08

Health disclaimer

If it's an emergency, don't wait for an appointment. Call 999 for severe pain, chest pain, shortness of breath, sudden weakness, loss of consciousness, or any symptom that concerns you urgently. Attend A&E or call 111 for non-emergency urgent advice.

Physiotherapy is a clinical service, but it doesn't replace emergency medical care, GP diagnosis, or hospital treatment. Information on this website is general guidance — it isn't a diagnosis and shouldn't be relied on in place of an in-person assessment.

If you have a known medical condition that could affect treatment — for example heart disease, uncontrolled blood pressure, recent surgery, pregnancy, osteoporosis, blood-thinning medication — please tell me before we start. Some techniques may need to be adapted or avoided.

09

Patients under 16

Patients under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for their first appointment, and for any treatment that involves hands-on work. A responsible adult must remain on the premises for the duration of every session for a patient under 16. Consent for treatment must be given by the parent or guardian.

10

Right to refuse or end treatment

I reserve the right to refuse to start, or to stop, treatment if:

  • Your condition is outside my scope of practice or would be safer managed elsewhere.
  • You're under the influence of alcohol or drugs to a degree that makes treatment unsafe.
  • Behaviour in the clinic is aggressive, threatening, or inappropriate towards me or anyone else.
  • Continuing would put your safety, or mine, at risk.

If I end treatment for any of these reasons, the session will be charged in full. I'll still help you find alternative care where appropriate.

11

Recording and photography

Audio or video recording of any part of a consultation is not permitted without my explicit consent. If you'd like to photograph or video a movement for your own reference (for example, to remember an exercise), just ask — I'm usually happy to agree. Please don't share recordings featuring me, the clinic, or any other patient on social media or with third parties without prior agreement.

12

Liability

I carry professional indemnity insurance and am liable for loss or harm caused by my negligence in the delivery of care. Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under law.

Beyond that, and to the extent permitted by law, my liability is limited to the fees you have paid for the course of treatment in question. I am not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought into the clinic — please keep them with you.

13

Privacy

How I handle your personal and clinical data is set out in full in the Privacy Policy. In short: I keep only what I need to deliver safe care, I don't sell your data, and I share it only with the trusted processors named in that policy (Cal.com for booking and Google Maps for the location embed).

14

Complaints

If something isn't right, please tell me first — I'd much rather hear it directly so I can put it right. Email adamsindallwhitephysio@gmail.com or call 07748 157 467. I'll acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to respond in full within 20 working days.

If we can't resolve it between us, you can raise a concern with the Health and Care Professions Council, the statutory regulator for physiotherapists in the UK.

15

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time (for example, when prices change or when a new process is added). The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent change. Material changes will also be flagged on the home page and in email confirmations sent after the change.

Your rights for any appointment you've already paid for are governed by the version of these terms in force at the time you booked.

16

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that can't be resolved between us will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.

Questions about any of this?

Have a read, then drop me a line before you book — I'm happy to explain anything that isn't clear.
